It’s the end of the school year and the long-awaited holidays have finally arrived. Little Nicholas, his parents and Granny hit the road heading for the sea, and move into the Beau-Rivage Hotel.
Adapted from Jean-Jacques Sempé (cartoonist for The New Yorker) and René Goscinny’s (creator of Asterix) “Little Nicholas” children’s book series, NICHOLAS ON HOLIDAY follows the adventures of Nicholas and his new friends. There’s Ben, who isn’t on holiday because he lives here, Freddy, who eats anything, Jocky, who talks funny because he’s English, Crispin the constant crybaby, and Christopher, who always wants to be right.
There is also Elizabeth, who Nicolas believes his parents want to force him to marry. Misunderstandings ensue and his pals are there to help him and cause trouble. But one thing's for sure: this will be an unforgettable vacation.

"An agreeable comedy for all ages... The cleverness begins with the credits being shown on postcards and it never wanes. This is a small gem of a movie."—Long's Short Takes
